PBSF Dog Rescue Fall Festival Chili Cook-off. September 30th at PG&J’s Dog Park Bar from 1 PM to 5 PM
Pitbulls of St. Francis (PBSF) Dog Rescue is celebrating its eight-year anniversary with a super Fun Fall Festival Fundraiser.
Chili Cook-off: $20 entry fee
Grand prize is $100 cash
Second place is $50 cash
Third place gets their entry fee back ($20 cash)
Contestants must provide a large crockpot of chili. $5 vote, which includes a 2oz sample of each chili. Additional vote tickets can be purchased – 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5.
A bowl of any of the chili can be purchased for $10.
Pumpkin Dessert Contest: $10 entry fee
The Grand Prize is $50 cash
Bring a pumpkin-themed dessert that can be cut into about 20 sample-sized bites. Winners will be decided by participant vote. Everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to buy a $5 vote, which includes a sample of each dessert. Additional vote tickets can be purchased for 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5
Pumpkin Carving Contest: $15 entry per team
Grand Prize $50 bar tab
Teams have an hour to carve their best design. Teams can sign up on the day of the event.
Fall Festival photo booth: $10 for a photo.
Get a spooky photo with the Hocus Pocus, “The Salem Sisters 502,” An excellent opportunity to dress up your pups!
Face Painting
Weather permitting, this is a family-friendly event. Children are not allowed inside the bar but are welcome into the front parking lot beer garden.
